"HOOK" (1991)

In 1985, composer John Williams and lyricist Leslie Bricusse were working on "Hook," but it was intended to be a stage musical. The project was stopped after about ten songs were written. One song from the show, "When You're Alone," made it into the film version - and many of the play's melodies can be heard in Williams' score for the film.

The kissing couple who begin to float when fairy dust lands on them are George Lucas and Carrie Fisher.

The pirate that Captain Hook throws in a trunk with a scorpion was played by actress Glenn Close.

When the film opened, the actress playing young Wendy wasn't as recognizable as she is now - it's Gwyneth Paltrow.
