Musso & Frank's Grill

Musso & Frank's Grill on Hollywood Boulevard has been serving entertainment dignitaries and the general public alike for over 80 years. Service is friendly and experienced; the menu of old-fashioned American/Continental food is consistently good. Its dark quiet atmosphere and tall booths help continue to make it a popular hangout for the entertainment crowd wanting to keep a low profile - casual studio business meetings and one-on-one celebrity interviews are common occurrences here.

According to legend, Charlie Chaplin and Douglas Fairbanks once raced each other on horseback to the restaurant. It's not clear who won, but undoubtedly the loser paid the bill.

In "Ed Wood" (1994), the title cross-dressing director (Johnny Depp) visited Musso & Frank's, where he had a chance encounter with Orson Welles (played by Vincent D'Onofrio, with a voice supplied by Maurice LaMarche).

George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s characters in "Ocean's Eleven" (2001) sat down at Musso & Frank's when they first discussed their plot to rob three Las Vegas casinos in the film.

In front of the restaurant, you’ll notice a star on the Walk-of-Fame for one Harrison Ford. You might be surprised to know that this isn’t the "Star Wars" / "Indiana Jones" Harrison Ford - but rather a silent film star of the same name who died in 1957. The other Harrison Ford (the one in slightly louder movies) now has his own star in front of the Kodak Theater.
